Do I need to live in Nauru?+
The program has no residency requirement. Your advisor will confirm any application, interview and identity-verification formalities that apply to you.
Can I include my family?+
Eligible spouses, children and certain other dependants may be included, subject to the program’s rules and additional fees. We will assess each family member’s circumstances before quoting.
What is included in the US$90,000 offer?+
The principal-applicant contribution is currently reduced from US$115,000 to US$90,000, a saving of US$25,000. This is the contribution, not the total cost. Published program charges for a single applicant total US$102,700 before professional and document costs. The application must be filed before 31 December 2026 for the current contribution offer. Fees and rules may change.
How long does citizenship take?+
The program states a typical 3–4 months from submission to citizenship approval. Document preparation and passport issuance may take additional time. Complex applications and additional checks can extend the timeline; approval is not guaranteed.
Can I retain my existing citizenship?+
Nauru permits dual citizenship, but the rules of your current nationality also apply. India, for example, does not allow dual citizenship. We will discuss the implications of your nationality and recommend appropriate specialist advice where needed.
Where can I travel with a Nauru passport?+
Entry requirements vary by destination and can change. Nauru citizenship does not provide visa-free access to the UK, Ireland or the Schengen Area. Your advisor can help you assess the program against the destinations that matter to you.
